On a recent global trip to assess origin operations, Abercrombie & Fitch leaders, Tom Corsi and Mike Sherman, visited RCS Logistics’ office in Hanoi, Vietnam. In January, due to an unexpected system issue, certain factories experienced delays in creating their labels which enables Abercrombie to receive at final destination. The issue was ultimately resolved, and 36,000 kilos of freight across more than 60 POs was handed over to RCS Hanoi after the cargo cut-off prior to Chinese New Year. The RCS Hanoi team worked for 2 days into their holiday break to prepare the shipments and all were able to export immediately.
Our Hanoi team was extremely appreciative of the visit by Tom and Mike, and much to their surprise, they were gifted with Hollister shirts. Tom Corsi sums it up by stating, “it should be celebrated when companies get along well and have a little fun while making things happen!” Great job RCS Hanoi, and thanks Abercrombie team for the praise and to our partnership!
